Publisher review:Circular Error Probable - Circular Error Probable radii for spatial position data. This function calculates circular error probable (CEP) radii for spatial position data whose along and cross-track error have a common standard deviation and non-zero mean error. Note that navigation applications will not necessarily have common variance in both horizontal axes.
The CEP value is determined by calculating the upper limit r of the Rician density so that the probability of an observation being in the interval (0,r) is equal to the specified probability p. Inputs are Bias (the mean horizontal radial error), Sigma (common along/cross track standard deviation), p (specified probability, selectable betwen 0.2 and 0.975).
